At Agriturismo Monticelli, you can enjoy horseback riding at the riding center and engage in sports activities fully immersed in nature.
Our manege
For horse riding enthusiasts, Agriturismo Monticelli boasts a large riding center with a stable of 20 horses. In addition to the purebred Sicilian ‘Sanfratellana’ horses, now endangered, you will also find ponies, miniature ponies, and donkeys.
At our riding arena, you can take riding lessons, practice show jumping, and enjoy hippotherapy under the guidance of certified instructors, or opt for simple trotting rides, surrounded by the greenery of the Mussomeli countryside.
For more experienced riders, Agriturismo Monticelli also organizes horseback excursions, equestrian shows and performances, trekking, and other activities, always under the guidance of specialized instructors.
The excursions are divided into difficulty levels to meet everyone’s needs. Highly recommended is the route leading to the ‘Rocca di Sutera,’ where breathtaking landscapes alternate with scheduled stops to taste local typical products.
